A lot of the social media that I see out there really is just, it’s boring. Some of it just plain sucks. And today, I’m going to teach you a three-part framework that can help you avoid crappy social media. Hi, I’m Steve Phipps and this is your weekly marketing tip from Wayfind Marketing.

Here’s the three-part structure, it’s based on story: problem, solution, success. Now this is a storytelling framework that has been used for ages, and it’s perfect for social media.

First thing you want to do, introduce the problem. And in fact for an example, just look at the social post that we used for this particular video, because we used that structure. We talk about the problem of bad social media.

Then, introduce the solution. So the solution is, in this case, a three-part framework.

And what does success look like? Well, success looks like content, social content, that people actually want to read and engage with. And then we invite you to watch this video to learn more about that framework.

So that simple framework, problem, solution, success, can help transform a post that otherwise would be really boring and that people don’t want to pay attention to. So, try it out, practice it, and see what happens.
